LIBRARY AND CAMPUS RESOURCES

26 July 2017, Topic 3, Lecturer Nur Fatihah. My last study skills class is held in Perpustakaan Abdul Rahman as the topic is related to the library. First thing that we learn is of course the rules of borrowing and repatriation of books.

The basic rules in UiTM Library :

• Students must check in to the library by touching the student card / staff card at the barrier gate of the library using the system.
• Students must always show student cards as long as they are in the Library. Failure to do so may result in the customer being prohibited from using the services and facilities provided.
• Students must adhere to UiTM's code of ethics and dress politely and neatly while in the Library. Use of t-shirts without caps, hats and sandals are prohibited.
• Students are not allowed to smoke, eat, drink or do something that may affect the learning environment in the Library
• Students are prohibited to behave inconsistently or in suspicious circumstances.
• Students are required to comply with the rules set out in the reading spaces of each zone in the library, namely the silent zone, the quiet zone, the social zone, the Research Room and the Discussion Room.
• Damage to Library property is a mistake including defrauding, tearing, cutting, damaging or destroying Library materials.
• The library is not liable for any loss or damage to property of an individual.

Below are the quantity of books and the time period that someone can borrow in UiTM Library.

Time period : 8 A.M - 4.30 P.M
